In designing this garden, we faced many challenges, the most important of which was how to achieve a harmonious balance between the garden and the surrounding buildings. We focus on detail and aesthetics, with a special focus on how to use design elements to break the traditional boundaries between a garden and a building to create a unified and harmonious space.

Solving the difference between space high and low

In the design of the courtyard door , we follow the integration of the overall community environment , while taking into account the style consistency After opening the door , we need to solve the first visual problem of entering the garden . There is a glass daylight well in front of the courtyard door , so we need to beautify and block it in a way that does not affect the daylighting of the space below .

Every project has its problems, because every project is designed with a new space and a new person in mind；When we commissioned this project, we began to understand the client's situation and to feel some of the problems that arose on the site.Thus we began to design, the garden around the house, the overall garden has 450 square, but because of the garden and the building has a relatively large drop , leading to indoor and outdoor interaction is very inconvenient，In order to make the garden and the indoor can be a good connection, so in the indoor access to the garden space, without affecting the drainage garden partial has done raised 。The indoor and outdoor connection is smooth, and it also increases the best view of the garden.

The garden dining space must first consider the interconnection with the indoor kitchen or restaurant, so as to better meet the entry of the food and tableware in the outdoor dining space, and also to better combine the function of the kitchen space with the garden restaurant space. At the same time, the garden dining space must be equipped with a washstand, and the plants around the garden eating space are best paired with certain flavors and seasonally changing colors, which can enhance the dining atmosphere.
